Founded by Donita R. Randles and inspired by her great-grandmother, Mama Clara B. Thomas, ROOTS celebrates family, connection, and the places that make a neighborhood feel like home.

OUR VISION

A micro market.
A place to belong.

We envision a welcoming micro market where neighbors can shop for fresh produce, staple food items, and everyday essentials while staying connected to their community. Our plans include nutrition education and resource connections to help neighbors make informed food choices and find community support. Our vision also includes homestyle ready-to-go meals for neighbors who want the comfort of a home-cooked meal without the preparation. We are developing our pilot program and exploring options for a permanent location.
